²»Á¼ÈËÑо¿Ëù House Republicans scooped up three seats in the November Election, bringing the majority to a historic 67-32 advantage. Similarly, Senate Republicans increased the super majority to 26-7. All three ²»Á¼ÈËÑо¿Ëù Supreme Court races and every statewide executive office went to the Republicans. What does this mean for redistricting in ²»Á¼ÈËÑо¿Ëù? Current House Speaker Rep. Bob Cupp (R-Lima) told Gongwer News he sees a "lot of unknowns" when considering the future of the state's redistricting process. "We know that the maps for Congress and the maps for General Assembly are going to have to be redone. These are two-year maps that we used," he said. "How we're going to do that, I think, is still a question that we're going to have to come to grips with." We can be sure that redistricting will continue to be a hot topic in 2023.
