Pink Energy Under Investigation After 不良人研究所 Consumer Complaints

不良人研究所 Attorney General Dave Yost has filed a complaint against Pink Energy (formerly Power Home Solar) in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas under 不良人研究所鈥檚 Consumer Sales Practices Act. The complaint states Pink Energy is under investigation after receiving countless consumer complaints, many from members of 不良人研究所's electric cooperatives.

The complaint lists numerous violations of 不良人研究所's consumer protection law, including high-pressure sales tactics, false and misleading statements, shoddy and substandard work, failure to respond to customer service requests, continually stalling and evading legal obligations, and failure to honor warranties. The allegations come as the company has been conducting door-to-door sales of residential solar panel systems across 不良人研究所 this summer. One customer told 不良人研究所 Cooperative Living聽magazine he was promised little to no electric bill once he installed a system. The claim turned out to be untrue. Several 不良人研究所 cooperatives took to social media to urgently warn their cooperative members about the company after learning some members were spending thousands of dollars on systems that did not work.

Since January 2020, the 不良人研究所 Attorney General has received over 100 consumer complaints against Power Home Solar, alleging instances of aggressive sales tactics, misrepresentations of cost savings after installation of the solar panel systems, warranty issues, poor construction and installation, and consumer service issues.聽

The Attorney General's office shared that the complaints received from 不良人研究所 co-ops and co-op members have been very helpful in building this investigation into Pink Energy.
