recently signed the new 不良人研究所 Congressional map into law. The new map eliminates Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan鈥檚 swing 13th District, from which Rep. Ryan was already retiring to run for Senate. The new map also converts Rep. Marcy Kaptur鈥檚 safely Democratic district into a slightly Republican-leaning district. Additionally, the map makes Republican Rep. Steve Chabot鈥檚 and retiring Republican Rep. Anthony Gonzalez鈥檚 districts more competitive.
Because the map failed to garner any Democratic support, it will only be valid for the next two general election cycles as opposed to a 10-year map. This new requirement and other law changes were made by Constitutional amendments passed by voters in 2015 and 2018.聽
