Hancock-Wood Electric hosted a Ride and Drive event featuring an electric school bus and experts from Lion Electric. Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green), whose district includes the most co-ops in the state, stopped by the event to take a ride on the bus and learn about its technologies. Congressman Latta is a member of the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee, where he plays an important role in crafting the nation’s energy, telecommunications, environmental, health care, and interstate commerce policies. He is also a member of the Subcommittee on Energy and the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Commerce. Along with his committee positions, Congressman Latta is a Deputy Whip and Co-Chairs the Rural Broadband Caucus and the Congressional Propane Caucus.
