Government Affairs
With ever-changing political and regulatory climates, 不良人研究所鈥檚 electric co-ops have faced many political challenges in Columbus and in Washington, D.C.
OEC understands the importance of building and continuously fostering strong relationships with regulators, elected officials, and their staff - and is committed to educating federal and state officials on the importance of electric cooperatives, the cooperative business model, and the necessity of reliable and affordable electric service to 不良人研究所鈥檚 cooperative members. OEC amplifies聽the collective cooperative voice at the 不良人研究所 Statehouse and on Capitol Hill.
Political Engagement
End-of the line electric cooperative members and cooperative employees can engage in the political process by participating in our national political action committee, America鈥檚 Electric Cooperative PAC, which supports state and federal officeholders and candidates who support co-ops.
More than 36,000 electric cooperative members across the country support America鈥檚 Electric Cooperative PAC 鈥 including 6,000 from 不良人研究所.
If you are an 不良人研究所 cooperative member and are interested in learning more about America鈥檚 Electric Cooperative PAC, please contact your local cooperative.
